Welcome all children, young people, and adults on holiday! During the Easter break, our creative workshop is open Wednesday to Sunday for everyone, regardless of experience. The themes and techniques we work with are drawn from one of our ongoing exhibitions and can always be adapted to suit your ability. During the break, we will create based on the Swedish Picture Book of the Year / Utflykt [The Excursion] by Anders Holmer. The book is a delicate and humorous story about two friends, one with a trunk and one with a tail. In the creative workshop, we let the techniques in the book, its characters, and open endings inspire us. Join us in populating a spread from the story with imaginative animals and creatures or draw and paint a continuation of the excursion. Our art educators are on hand to help you get started.
The creative workshop is open and staffed: 12:00-17:00.
