Hyperspace is a visually captivating solo performance that emerged during a scientific expedition to Antarctica. While the ship's crew explored the ocean floor, choreographer James Batchelor turned his gaze inward, mapping his own self, masculinity, and vulnerability.
Inspired by scientific research, Batchelor presents his findings with hypnotic presence and remarkable flexibility. His body, adorned with small black markings, becomes a map of the cosmos, where each movement unveils new discoveries and possibilities.
