Moving images have left their mark in our time more strongly than any other cultural phenomena. In this exhibition visitors encounter views on how film and TV have influenced not just our attitudes, values and lifestyle but the very society in which we live.
In addition to a rich narrative on the evolution of film and television, the exhibition also presents everything from the cameras behind the pictures, the furniture for the "Friday Thriller" to the audience in classical movie theatres. In collaboration with the Swedish Film Institute and the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation with support from the Millennium Committee.
