The Swedish writer Pernilla Stalfelt puts her interest in childrens thoughts and reactions on taboo subjects that adults often want to avoid. Her books are inspired by meeting with children and by her work as an art pedagogue at Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
With humor and unerring descriptions she approaches difficult subjects as death, poo-poo and hair. A book about love will also be published during 2001.
The exhibition consists of original drawings from Pernilla Stalfelts´ books Dödenboken, Maskboken, Hårboken, Bajsboken,Lokvargen and Fisksaga - books that has attracted much attention. Two animated films and a digital presentation are also included.
The exhibition is produced by Bildmuseet and will start touring in the region in spring of 2002.
