In this exhibition, we display the works of a number of comic artists who have developed their own illustrative and narrative styles. They all have ties to the north of Sweden and in some cases they even include the region in their stories. Among the participating artists are Anneli Furmark, Gerd Aurell, Joanna Hellgren, Mats Jonsson and Max Andersson and others.
During the exhibition period, Bildmuseet offers workshops and educational activities to inspire visitors to create their own comic narrative. The exhibition is produced by Bildmuseet in collaboration with Skellefteå Art Gallery and illustrator Jonas Lidström Isegrim.
