With a background as head of the radio theatre at the Swedish Radio and Theatre Director of the Orion Theatre in Stockholm, Oscarson currently works as a freelancer with assignments for the Stockholm City Theatre, Folkoperan and Svenska Dagbladet Culture, among others. In addition, she has written scripts for and directed many theatre productions over the years, authored several books, and been a columnist and writer for newspapers and magazines such as Dagens Nyheter and Aftonbladet, ETC, Ordfront and Arena.
